With both a creative idea, an interesting spell list, and reasonablly good graphics, Kimblis the Blue certainly deserves the front page spot that it recieved.
But here's the important thing. There are a whole bunch of games on Newgrounds that look amazing and sucks nuts. This looked pretty good- but it was REALLY fun. :) There were a lot of ways to play your character- and leveling up was always an interesting situation.
As a suggestion to the author, if I may- by giving THIS wizard control over air, I assume that there other other wizards that control other elements...
What if this Kimlis recieves the might of a second element, and is allowed to chooses spells that use one, the other or both. So, it may be that you need level one fireball and level one artic wind to purchase firestorm. Just a thought. :D

I think you'll be very pleased with the sequel then. Don't want to reveal the plot, but something very similar to that is going to happen.

Well, the graphics wern't bad... but you can't really call it a game, dude. Nothing happened. I clicked on an alien for a while, until he moved. THen I clicked on him again... Then I quit.
I imagine that was your first shot at a flash. If it was- then I understand the simplistic start. However... it still is what it is.

This was a VAST improvement over your earlier versions. They were cool in their own ways- but this was INTERESTING. A story is nice to see, and I saw a few creative ideas there... this looks very much like a Chirst vs. Anti Christ battle.
I do have a complaint, however. It's hard to feel that the Paladin, or any hero, has a very difficult fight ahead of them when you realize that they are essentially immortal.
If the God of Strength can resurrect the Paladin whenever he falls, does that make the Paladin a hero? Or is he simply an errond boy for the God? And can the God of the Dead do the same thing for his servant?
There has to be a reason why The Paladin's life is on the line everytime he raises his sword- and there has to be a sense of fear for failure. Because if he does die- the world has no hope left. But if he can't die, then the world has nothing to worry about. And that's not much of a story either. :)

I guess I don't understand. It's supposed to be a sad story, but the girl worm got carried off by a bunch of other worms? Uh... why? Because worms come out in after a storm and feel the need to attack defensless female worms?
Did not the male worm embarkith on a quest to find his female worm? Nah. He just balled on the beach. What a pansy worm.
Author's Response:
You know how when it rains, the worms come out of the ground? I was trying to convey that there was just thousands of them, and as they were wiggling and such, they just so happen to take her away.
And yeah, he's just a gentle little wormy too love struck to think straight...perhaps a sequel would be good..hmm...

I had fun with that! It's nice to see a big fight scene- and the voicing wasn't bad at all. Too be honest, I always expected Zero to have a higher pitched voice, but I can't argue with how you see it. :)
Very melodramatic- but all anime style stuff is.

That was quick, funny bit! And, in agreement with the last guy that posted, that was really good work for someone who was new to flash. Very fluid- good voice dubing (and a good voice talent) and the animation itself looked great!
You're one of the people that DOES deserve the front page.

Hey. Picture this: shitty animation, then shitty sounds, for a long time. Then, a chick. Then sonic tries to grab this chick and, gets killed... at least I think he did. After about a minute of shitty, I turned it off. I think the flash could be improved with... humor. That'd be the best, I think.

DUDE! This animation got me to thinking about a universe where three immortal things just faught for all enternity, never dieing or resting, and breaking everything as they went. It was awesome, and many sections of animation were very well drawn. If you like energy swords, shooting and senseless violence, you'll like this. :D

The things that some people are willing to do... Damn. TOTALLY caught me off guard. And that bitch was fine. *grin*
I have to say- the graphics were INCREDIBLE, and the short length flash really got past some crazy possabilites about the mind fuck that guy put on these people. Damn.

You have a piece of work here, I think. A fully fuctioning FF 3 engine? Nice.
Thing is, there is still alot to do, before it becomes amazing. A story would be nice, but a few more rooms and a small unimportant quest would be 'nicer'. Maybe throw in a few more enemies and a slight level up feature. I realize that this is easier said then done but... this game won't be truly great until it is.
